To move away from the deliciousness that is cream, real butter (salted please!), fresh cheese curds (I had these on the way to Minnesota, talk about TASTY), I also like pork fat. I don't know what it is about it, but I love the texture and obviously the flavor. It's almost sweet, and definitely smooth. I like miso ramen simply for the two pieces of pork they put in it. It flavors the broth wonderfully.
