Give me your recipes. I have a huge bag full of overripe bananas that I'm going to throw out on Monday, so I need something to do with them. I already have a banana nut bread recipe, so don't bother with that.

I'm having serious throat/acid reflux issues right now, so nothing with alcohol in it and cold recipes are greatly preferred, but not necessary.

Equipped: N00dz of Ali named "But she was naked! And all... articulate!"
8 medium bananas, peeled
8 wooden popsicle sticks
32 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or chips
4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Dipping decorations: granola, chopped nuts, sprinkles, jimmies, crushed cookies, and toasted coconut

Line a sheet pan with waxed paper. Cut 1-inch off the end of each banana. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut-end of each banana, pushing the stick halfway in, leaving the other end exposed for use as a handle. Place the bananas on the sheet pan and freeze 1 hour.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring occasionally.

Arrange the dipping decorations on several flat plates. Working with 1 banana at a time, dip it in the chocolate and turn to completely coat (spoon some on, if needed). Roll the dipped banana in the desired decorations, transfer to the sheet pan, and return to the freezer.

Once frozen, store the bananas in an airtight container.

Fuuuuuck, I'd do that if they weren't overripe bananas. There's no way they'd keep. I tried prepping one to see if I could do your recipe, but it fell apart while I was peeling it.

Peel 'em, wrap them tightly in several layers of saran wrap, and use them for smoothies.

I totally glazed over the part where you said they were over ripe.

Some of those looked like they'd be great if you like bananas. Easy to make too.

Fuck, I didn't even think of smoothies. I just bought some vanilla ice cream, too, thanks!

I just realized I've never actually tried to make a banana cream pie. Maybe I'll try that.

I suggest you invest in one. They are by far one of the most fun kitchen appliances ever!

If you have a kitchenaid mixer, you can get this bad boy: http://tinyurl.com/5jex9b

The banana nut bread turned out pretty awesome. I made two loafs, one of them I brought to my sister's work (a coffee shop) and it was gone in seconds. The other I kept at home and three of us killed about half of it. I'm probably going to make another tomorrow to take it work.

I would like to point out that by now, if he still has any overripe bananas, they are now a banana-y poo-like substance.

Hence opting for freezing them.
