So I just got caught up on this season:

I think Quinn's new attitude is theeee most poorly written character "development" ever. There are so many different routes they could have taken with this, and this is the one they chose?!

I kinda like the Puck/Shelby development. I can't wait to see where it goes.

I still hate Rachel -- the self absorbed bitchling she is. If I were Kurt I'd keep that bridge burnt. She really proved that she doesn't give a crap about their friendship; if ruining it will get her her way, then so be it.

My heart is completely broken for Santana. Not just the whole outing thing, but for the fact that what he said was true--Brittney may not love her the way she loves Britt and that tears her apart on the inside.

Britt for president. She's hot, and there will be robo-teachers.

Don't forget that she'll go topless on Tuesdays!

I agree with everything you said, especially about Quinn's arc so far this season. It would have been better to keep her all gothed up and pink haired and being a Misfit Toy than this crap with her trying to get her baby back by committing fraud.

OK, so am I just the only person who feels that Santana is the world's biggest bitch and I didn't actually feel that bad for her when Kurt said that in the hallway to her? I applauded him for having her shut her nasty mouth up. Finally.

I mean, because let's be honest; he WASN'T thinking (does he ever, really?), and he had no idea that it would have left the school walls. How the fuck was he supposed to know that it would be on TV?

I mean, the character's sassy and funny and I like Santana as a character (and I LOVE her voice), but that bitchitude and bullying thing just irks me so much that yeah. No. I don't feel bad for her.

I'm not saying what he did was right. I'm just saying that she's so fucking mean all the time that I can't bring myself to feel that bad for her. We'll see where the next episode brings us; I might start to want to take back what I said. Honestly? I think this is a great way to make her character grow instead of just always being the played out "I'm the bitch for no apparent reason other than to be a bitch" bit. We'll see what happens.

It is kind of like karma I think. You want to be a nasty bitch well be prepared to have someone at some point throw it back at you. To me, I feel like she has gotten what she deserved. This is the only character development that I am supporting at the moment.

Hopefully they won't throw this one away like Rachel, Mercedes, and Quinn.

I also have a problem with Santana, obviously. It is never right to "out" someone but, 1) that doesn't excuse her consistently horrible behavior, and 2) okay, maybe I'm the only one who remembers her constantly talking about Kurt being gay before he was ever out? So, yeah.

some fat jokes

First of all, that's not all it was. She also became physically violent to Rory to the point that he was bleeding and curled on the floor. Second, I find this trent incredibly disturbing. Why is it okay for her to bully people? Is it because it's hot and funny when she does it and suddenly not okay when a guy does it? Is it because it's at the expense of the "fat," so it's not at all as bad as the pain of being in the closet? Is it because Finn's a guy so he can't possibly have the same body image issues as the girls on the show?

I'm just so confused about how the onslaught of verbal abuse she was throwing at Finn for the way he looked could be construed as "some fat jokes" and brushed aside in order to support someone so hypocritical.

Ugh. Yes. Done with show.
PS: ... trend. Durrrr.

Yeah it doesn't really make it even, but Santana was definitely not just throwing around "some fat jokes." She was relentlessly insulting him, and the show has already covered in the past that Finn has body issues.

I just finished watching the episode because I don't have cable and had to remember to watch it on Hulu. I got into Glee over the summer as background TV while I was sewing, but it quickly became a serious guilty pleasure. I think it's funny that a lot of my friends became disinterested in season 2 right when I started getting more into it. Season 3 has been fantastic aside from one or two dud episodes. Asian F had moments that made me cry! Blaaahh.

I will not defend this show and say it's actually really good but it's definitely kept being entertaining. Even my boyfriend, while first making fun of it constantly, ended up sitting down and watching some episodes with me because he couldn't help it. I think my interest has a lot to do with how much I liked Saved by the Bell and musicals as a kid. Or something.
PS: Also Quinn has just become deplorable as a character what the hell.

Uh, can I say that Finn singing "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" to Santana made me tear up? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I didn't tear up, but I absolutely LOVED the way they covered that song. And I think Finn has a great voice, but hearing him now in this new lower, softer range made me a bigger fan. His voice has always been pretty good, but I think he has this spectacular, almost haunting kind of voice when he goes lower. Love love loved it.

Bummed about the Christmas episode and how the seemingly best scenes (Kurt & Blaine ring gift, Santana's Santa Baby) got cut. Blah!
