News & For Sale “Smiths songs are transformed into comics” by Hunky DoryHunky Dory 21 months ago on 08/05/11 What if the Smiths' songs were comics? An American publisher is taking that idea to the printing-press, organising a new anthology that transforms songs such as Girlfriend in a Coma and How Soon Is Now? into comic-book stories. Each tune will unspool as a four-to-eight-page comic strip, with the whole thing published in November. I posted this on Facebook / G+ and some people have noticed it but I thought it would be interesting to follow (if it takes off) this over time and hear peoples responses. http://guardian.co.uk/...g/03/smiths-comics-morrissey-song (here is the kickstarter page: http://...kickstarter.com/...comic-stories-inspired-by-the ) Who would be your favorite character brought to ink?
