Copy and paste these questions and answer them.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I knew Lindze from another forum we were both on, she sent me a note one day that said something along the lines of "Hey come join this site, you can be an asshole and ridicule people, its awesome." Man, those were the days.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

The people I've met. Alot of great people on this site who are really friendly and actually care about you, its a rare thing. Although, I have to say its also ties in with the worst thing about OB....... (read on)

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Being far from the people I've met on OB. The closest people are like a 6 hour drive away and in a different country, it sucks.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

My first BC was at Virginia Beach (08?) – One of my greatest memories is all of us on the beach just monkeying around, drinking and having fun as the night went on and all of a sudden fireworks going off in the distance... it was like magical, like the whole thing was planned, it was just perfect timing.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Attending more BC's and seeing all you lovely faggots at Dragon Con :D

6.) (Optional) Add your own question here.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?
Nick the Newbie introduced me to it. I was single and ronery and decided to peep it.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

The people! I can honestly say most of my friends are OBers or people that I met through OBers. It's a great network of people that have your back and will still accept you even if you were once a douche or may be prone to douche-tendencies (though we do tend to get tired of legit douches)

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Everyone is so far away from eachother and that we aren't always the most accepting of new people that are still pretty otaku-y. Now that most of us are fairly well-adjusted adults, we kind of have a hard time accepting the kids.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Ohhhh Virginia Beach. An entire room patiently watched someone drunkenly passing out with their shoes while epic rounds of Soul Calibur blasted in the background.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

Oh man, when I used to go to cons I had a few voice acting friends that used to frequent this site or just came in close contact w/ you guys. A few of them after going to a local con came back and were total infuriated (and i don't even think that word does it justice) by your drunken antics and con debauchery and told me you all were the worst people. They were a bunch of people that didn't like partying, drinking, or experiencing new things. I couldn't imagine that you could be all that bad and kind of poked fun at them. They told me if I survived the site for more then a month they would pay for a year subscription and wish me the best of luck.

I joined immediately and haven't regretted it since!

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

Obvs, my first answer is John because without this site I wouldn't have met my now husband! But, besides Boots, the heart of this site are all you absolutely "terrible" people who "ruin" everything for every lame/serious nerd out there! True friendship is right here in OB's community, something that you rarely can get these days!

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Not being able to hang out with you all because we are spread out like peanut butter on the giant loaf of america/the world. If I could i would put all of us together in one giant sandwich! Just don't ask where the jam came from.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Hands down having Jared perform for Boots and I as Tony Clifton. The whole celebration of our engagement at last year's panel including watching two of our nearest and dearest get engaged themselves was SUPER special!

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

This sounds all cheesy... but growing old and partying it out with you guys until we are chasing kids playing their 3-D DS consoles on our lawns and taking shots of prune juice and fiber!

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I saw a flier for it back at the first Otakon I ever went to in 2003, but it wasn't until a few months later when this girl I liked on the internet joined that I decided to sign up.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

The people and the community. How I can go for months without posting and being able to come back to a wonderful group of nerds every time. How people I don't even know well worry when something is obviously wrong. OB people always look out for each other. I've never found another community online that's like that.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Definitely being far away from the people.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

No. :( I always want to but life always gets in the way and I'm never able to pull together enough money for everything. It seems prohibitively expensive compared to cons in general.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Hopefully someday going to a Bootycon! But I'm visiting the Logan/Uma family in early May and I am beyond stoked for that.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I was on an anime forum with Sailor Joon and she told me about OB, warning me that people could be mean. I took it as a challenge.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

I've known a lot of nerds of all kinds and OB has the smartest, sexiest and most awesome ones there are. OB has ruined me for regular nerds. Most generous, compassionate, and people I've ever had the pleasure to know.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Repeat all of you bitches living so far away. It's no easy task ruling a kingdom from afar. Also, I don't like it when good members get chased away by petty arguments or misunderstandings.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

BC Va Beach baby! I have two vivid memories of that one. One, every single one of you were nice. Totally destroyed your elitist bitch image. And two. being grabbed by The Pirate and tangoed down the beach while a pirate ship was just offshore and fireworks went off. Can't top that.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Meeting more of you. Seeing those of you I haven't in a long time. Rubbing eppy's bald head again. The usual.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?
I didnt actually join myself. My brother created an account for me after DragonCon 2010. It was possibly the greatest weekend Ive ever had, and also my first con. I got to meet a bunch of OB'ers while I was there and we had a pretty good time.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?
The ability to get my nerd on. Also the ability to have an intelligent conversation with someone without having to explain what Im talking about.
I have an obscure taste in women, and whenever I feel like dating again. I'm sure that I'll be able to find the quirky girl I need.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?
Gorgpiling. But I can be a dick. I need to work on that I suppose.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?
No. Life keeps getting in the way. I'd like to go to one though. Im out of the military now, so it might be possible in the future!

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?
Entertaining topics of discussion.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

Lindze dragged me to an OB party at Anime Expo ages ago but I didn't really get to know many OB peeps until Lindze brought me along to another OB gathering at Otakon that same year. After that, it was all relatively downhill from there.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

I've met many interesting people and made some lasting memories. I'm not into the convention scene anymore but I miss having that collective geek camaraderie - this is a more than reasonable substitute.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

I'll echo the sentiments of the others who mentioned that so many awesome people are far away.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Vegas was my only experience but it looks like I'll be in southern California on business the same week as this year's Bootycon... so after an extended hiatus, it looks like I might be making an appearance this year.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Bootycon 2012 and hopefully all the ones thereafter.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I forget what year it was, but I was at a Katsucon in the mid-2ks and overheard someone mentioning an Otakubooty meetup. I remember thinking it was some kinda orgy arrangement, what with the name and usage of "booty". I joined...why did I join again? Oh yeah. Curiousity. Much of the time I join things out of boredom, but this time it was curiousity. Yup.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

The best thing? Hm. Obviously the people. I'm a world-class lurker much of the time, but I enjoy reading everyone's rants and opinions, even when they conflict with my own. It's a bit like watching a trainwreck in space: beautiful, tragic, and bizarre at the same time.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

I haven't had the best track record dating-wise here. I kinda don't use it for that purpose anymore and have satisfied myself with making friends. Distance can be an issue with the ones I consider myself close to. I could also do without some of the elitism I see, particularly in the forums. We're all nerds here, people. We should be far more tolerant.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Unfortunately, no. I should like to attend one when it's back on the east coast, but I also fear I'll feel out of place and very awkward turtle. I'm not the greatest in social situations, preferring to hide in a corner or up in trees, if last year's Sausagefest was any indication of the latter. I think I'd go just to go and see what happens.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Perhaps getting to know the OBers in this area (VA,MD) and perhaps becoming less of a loser at social interactions.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I was working with Greg/Zanial at Novalogic and Duncan sent him an invite, which lead to this kind of cascade of most of the department getting invited.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

I've been blessed to have reconnected with and to have made some amazing friendships on OB. The relationships I've had with people I've met on OB have been with amazing people that I still love to this day and my best friend met his soon to be wife on OB. Really, OB is just full of amazing people.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

Fuck all of this "People are too far away" circle jerking. Roger. Roger is the worst part about OB. You wonder why people in SoCal don't make events threads anymore? He's why.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

I've been to every Bootycon so far and it would be difficult for me to pick one moment. I have to say that 2010 was a favorite because it was amazing to have OB in my backyard and to be able to share the things I love in the area with everyone. See you all back there this summer!

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

Obviously I'm looking forward to seeing people at conventions but I'm actually really excited to seeing the eventual site revamp and perhaps getting some new blood or returning old blood back to the site.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

My friend Will/Kitsune (who was later banned) told me how much I had to join. I refused for months, based on the name. Eventually I gave in and it was pretty awesome.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

Of course, the people. The few people I met and get-together's I went to in the beginning were awesome.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

I'm an on/off member because some months OB is great and others it's boring. But that could be a positive, because then I don't waste hours of my life reading all of the threads.

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

No. And probably not. I mean, the Virginia Beach one was practically in my backyard and I didn't go to that.

1. How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I actually read a few con reports on Booty Project years and years and years ago, then completely forgot about the site entirely until SQ said something about it when I was in college. Then I realized a ton of people I knew, or almost knew, were already members and I signed up. I don't think I realized it was connected to Booty Project by anything beyond coincidence for a couple months.

I did recall giggling at the fact that "John Booty" was Booty Project's webmaster's actual name, because I was a kid. Years later, on OB, I was shocked and dismayed to find out it's not even his actual name after all.

2. What would you say is the best thing about OB?

It doesn't feel like an internet forum. I actually know a lot of you and I feel like I may as well actually know most of the rest of you. Everyone has a face. Nobody plays at some embarrassing or annoying persona (anything embarrassing or annoying is 100% legit!). The "rules" here, at least moreso than any other forum I've found, resemble actual human interaction rather than a list of imutable statutes pinned up on the wall at the dipshit factory.

All this means OB is a place I can go for consistent and enjoyable conversation with actual human beings. That's especially valuable to me, living as I do in a farm town on the other side of the world with maybe three or four local friends I can actually speak to in my native language.

Compared to OB, most other messageboards are dumps you skim through quickly, scavenging for useful information among a wasteland of anime emoticons and people who don't know that "meme" has a meaning that isn't related to Chuck Norris.

Also, people here think I'm handsome and funny for some bizarre reason.

3. What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

I no longer think that all the rape faggot stuff is worth it, whatever "it" was.

4. Have you been to a Bootycon?

Nope.

If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Not this year. And if I ever did, I would tell as few people as possible so it would be a surprise. I'd probably actively tell most people I couldn't make it. Hmmm.

5. What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

The site revamp. Also, finally getting to see a bunch of you guys again and meeting even more of you until I have my Johnny Landmine's Secret Champions of OB card fully stamped. I don't know when or what that's going to be, but at this point I've thought so often about how much I would enjoy it that I refuse to believe it won't happen.

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I knew John from college (before OB). I read BootyProject. I was aware of OB when it launched, but had absolutely no interest in it and ignored it for years. But then one of our other long time friends invited me to a 30th birthday party for John that a bunch of OBers attended and after that I finally gave in and joined.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

Pretty much what everyone has already said: the people. It's a great community and I probably wouldn't have otherwise met so many like minded (aka geeky) folks.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?

That I only get to see some of you guys once a year!

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

I've been to every BC except for '10 (thanks a lot, thesis due date).

My favorite moment was probably in Virginia Beach when I think me, Sergio, Erin, and Scott all stood at the water's edge and watched the sun come up. There's a picture somewhere of our silhouettes. Either that or just when everybody was chilling out on the lawn.

5) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I was googling around for dating sites, and I came across this weird site called Otaku Booty. I joined, and thought, "Hey, for $4/mo, what do I have to lose, I can just cancel." I then discovered the boards, and started lurking. I found an event on the Events board, "Rizu's 21st Birthday". After looking at people, I found out Rizu (at the time) was from NY, and there were tons of other people going too. I shot this Rizu broad a PM, and was like "Hey I'm new, I'm not a creep or anything but can I come to your birthday party?!" She said yeah, and I went into the city, and met the whole crew! I had a blast, and the moment I got home, I added on another year, and the rest is history!

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?

The people. I have met so many amazing, kind, generous people on here. I can't think of any other community that is as close-knit as OB. I can never stick to posting on forums, but OB is the single exception!

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?
Not seeing some of you more than once or twice a year!

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?

Yes. My first one was in Vegas in 08. I was around when 07 happened, but I was too new and felt super awkward, nor did I have the cash. I went to BC08, and everyone was so welcoming and nice, and made me feel wanted, no matter what group I was near. Might not be able to swing this year though :(. My favorite moment? Swimming in the water at 3AM in Myrtle Beach. Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAtomzxqMAg

5.) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?

1.) How did you find out about OB and why did you join?

I knew this guy, he was more of a creepy nerd (never showered, etc). At Katsucon, i saw him with a bunch of guys and girls, and asked him what was this group. It wasn't his usual LARP or Furry friends. He told me about Otakobooty. I had the flu that weekend, so I checked out the site, paid $4, and the rest is history.

2.) What would you say is the best thing about OB?
Hands down the people. It's a fantastic collection of people that are generally welcoming, open, generous, kind....this list truly can go on and on.

3.) What would you say is the worst thing about OB?
As stated before, not seeing some of you more than once or twice a year. But on the negative side (since this is a negative question) I'd have to say it's a tie between gorgpiling, and the ego/cliquish attitude that people can give off

4.) Have you been to a Bootycon? If yes, tell us about one of your favorite moments at your first Bootycon. If no, do you plan to attend this year or in the future?
Yes. I've been involved in too many, 07, 08, 09, 10. 07 was the first and it was just magical. The fireworks show that night on the beach made the entire event fantastic. I would have to say the best moment of BC would be the Fuck Everclear. IMO that is the most craziest thing that we all experienced. Then again Vegas itself was just one wild and crazy party. Close second is LA, because only Fuck Everclear can top beer pong in the hotel lobby.

5.) What are you most looking forward to in regards to OB?
It's pretty cool to see a handful of members moving on with their lives, getting married, starting families, etc. I would have to say I greatly look forward to seeing the new generation of OB, the next batch of college kids that will have many more great adventures.
