It's time for everyone to rewatch xfiles. It's been long enough. It's on netflix. Start now.

Spoiler alert: you will want to bang Scully.

Thread game: Post any special guest stars you see.

Oh man, you're going to love the "post people you know from other shows".

Speaking of Firefly, the guy who plays Badger/The Lawyer Dude from BSG/Crowley from Supernatural/I know he's on Dr. Who but I don't know who he is make an appearance in season one as a pyrokinetic.

Yo, what's the spoiler policy for this thread? Because, seriously, you had your fucking chance to watch this show. It was called "The 2000's".

I own all of the X-Files on DVD except the last two seasons because those don't exist.

We must not forget that the X-Files was just the fantasy of an autistic boy, because Detective John Munch appeared in season 5

There is no spoiler policy.

And yeah, I just watched the episode with Badger. I've already seen so many guest appearances, I can't really remember all of them, but Jewel Staite was a classic.

Do you mean that you don't own seasons six and seven? Those dvds certainly do exist!

It's useless to answer for someone else but I'm going to anyway; I took him to mean those two seasons did not meet the exacting criteria to be honored with a place on the Moustache Family DVD Rack.
PS: I was hoping to go into a re-watch of LOST after our current re-watch of BSG right before bedtime every night, but I think you just convinced Lisa it's time for us to finally watch all of the X-Files in order. I watched a lot of it when it was first on, but mostly lost track of it quickly, Lisa was a FAN back in the day.

I'll concede to an X-Files run if the issue is pressed, but only if it includes watching the Lone Gunmen spin-off, too, which I remember fondly (but maybe because I would always watch it while pre-gaming to go out clubbing).

I've rewatched the series a couple times in the last few years or so, so I don't know if I'm quite ready for another go just yet... but we'll see.

And yes, pretty much every actor you can think of will make a guest appearance. Luke Wilson is probably my all time favorite, but there are so many good ones.

She was implying that there are no seasons of X-Files beyond season seven, which I wholeheartedly agree with!

Mulder: (on phone) "I know it's not your inclination, but... did you ever look up into the night sky and feel certain that not only was something up there, but it was looking down on you at that exact same moment, that was just as curious about you as are were about it?"

Scully: "I think the only thing more fortuitous than the emergence of life on this planet is that through purely random laws of biological evolution an intelligence as complex as ours ever emanated from it. The very idea of intelligent alien life is not only astronomically improbable, but at its most basic level downright anti-Darwinian."

Mulder: ".... What are you wearing?"
PS: That 70s show dad is an FBI agent in season 3 e14

I love when Ryan Reynolds is in it and dies. Die you bastard!

I have been re watching it all the past few months and we are working our way through season 6 currently. It's fun because I really remember these episodes a lot more than the first few seasons. Plus it all makes a lot more sense having watched it all consecutively. I am greatly looking forward to watching "Arcadia" again, since Scully and Mulder pretend to be married! Love it!

No lie, I had a dream about the X-Files a couple nights ago, and I stopped watching when the T-1000 took over, but always meant to finish it, and the movie, so I have no idea how the show ends.

But in this dream, it turns out the ultimate twist or secret of the show was that Mulder was actually a midget, and it changed his perception on everything. It was a really retarded dream, it made no sense, and it was kind of scary because Mulder was an angry midget shaking people's collars screaming "WHY WHYYYYY"

I still have the rolling stone issue that featured this photo shoot (was also a shot for the cover).

Mmmm....

Part of me still thinks of Mulder while I'm watching Californication. But then again part of me still thought of Red Shoe Diaries when I was watching X-files...
