Otaku Chat “Avengers Alliance” by CashBLAM! 13 months ago on 05/23/12 Equipped: Dante's Ebony+Ivory named "BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!" The links work now, but it must have been just yesterday or whatever time i was checking. Erics 13 months ago on 05/25/12 Equipped: Sword named "Infinity Edge (3830g)" Fun fact: The highest remote op bonus you get is 60%, at level 10. Level 11 and 12 don't give any further bonus. PS: http://gamelytic.com/...lliance-remote-op-flight-deck-list
Also here's a chart that shows the disparity between the remote op times: http://gamelytic.com/...lliance-remote-op-flight-deck-list I'd be interested in seeing what the cost effectiveness/difference is with the different remote op bonuses. Put A Bird On It! 13 months ago on 05/25/12 Equipped: N00dz of Sephiroth named "(meow)" Yeah, I noticed that a few days ago, which is why if I know I'm going to be near my computer for a bit I just run a bunch of 20 minute missions instead of longer ones. That seems to be the sweet spot from what I've found since you don't have to check in too frequently and even if you only do 2 in an hour you still make way more than a single 1 hour mission. Peabody 13 months ago on 05/25/12 Equipped: Technique scroll: "Bitch Slap" named "Peabody's Receipt of Expenses. *RAGEQUIT*" The good news is that it will only take four hundred 20 minute missions to afford to train hulk to level 10.. :/ Put A Bird On It! 13 months ago on 05/25/12 Equipped: N00dz of Sephiroth named "(meow)" Well I currently have the full 8 jets all upgraded to the highest level, so after running them all on a 20 minute mission I get about 5k silver. That's with most of the heroes going out at level 10, I have one level 11 but also one level 9 and a level 6.
Erics said: I only have Iron Man at level 11, but that doesn't look to be the case for me. The level 10s all have the 60% bonus while his is 75%. PS: Oh wait, it's Hawkeye I have at 11, not Iron Man. Erics 12 months ago on 05/26/12 Equipped: Sword named "Infinity Edge (3830g)" Weird, that information may be dated then! Kaziel 12 months ago on 05/26/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" Here's a more up to date version, showing the level 11 and 12 bonuses: http://forum.playdom.com/showthread.php?89175-Hero-Training Erics 12 months ago on 05/26/12 Equipped: Sword named "Infinity Edge (3830g)" Aaah, rad. Going up to 12 is totally worth it then. 90% will boost your silver gain a ton. Kaziel 12 months ago on 05/30/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" Score. Just got my second 5 star rating on the Spec Ops missions. Only one more to go and Mockingbird is mine! PS: Also: LEVEL 60! WOO!!!!
Now to start throwing my money and SHIELD Points at researching the highest tier ISO-8 bits to get everyone wearing the best. Peabody 12 months ago on 05/31/12 Equipped: Technique scroll: "Bitch Slap" named "Peabody's Receipt of Expenses. *RAGEQUIT*" Just signed up for a discover card that I will never need or use to get like 300 gold, bought agent Coulson's gun and the avengers movie scrapper outfit for hulk. no regrets. Kaziel 12 months ago on 05/31/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" For those who use or are intending on getting Captain America, he got slightly nerfed:
From http://...playdom.com/...ase-Notes-2012.05.31-11-00-AM-PDT Key bit (but others worth taking a gander at) "Captain America’s Shield Guard ability restored to a 2-round cooldown" Kaziel 12 months ago on 06/02/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" He is. He's just not as amazingly (brokenly) awesome as he was before. Being able to guard everyone against single-target and AOE attacks every turn? Yeah... Peabody 12 months ago on 06/02/12 Equipped: Technique scroll: "Bitch Slap" named "Peabody's Receipt of Expenses. *RAGEQUIT*" I've been reluctant to pick up Capt simply because I tend to rip him apart in PVP. I'm having a good run with my agent as a tactician, using Spiderman Brute doing the team defense and Hulk Scrapper. What's your PVP setup Kaz? Kaziel 12 months ago on 06/02/12 Updated: 12 months ago on 06/03/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" Captain America in PvP, controlled by the computer is crap. If you were to use him in PvP, it'd just be under your control, then swap him back to something else.
Personally I go with Infil Spidey and Blaster Storm. Storm's level 2 ability makes Spider-Man borderline untouchable. Still makes him a bit weak to Scrappers, but since tons of people bring Blasters and Blasters when they hit Bruisers ignore defense, I'd rather have him not be made of paper... Quick question about Scrapper Hulk: Does he generate 2 Hulk Ups when he hits an Infiltrator with Rage Punch or only one? PS: Missed commenting on my own character: Just for ease of money, I'm keeping my character as a Generalist, but that was mostly just for while I was leveling. In the 1-65ish run, it's easier to keep the most up-to-date Generalist armor full of the best ISO-8 shards you can get and just wait until you can research the final tier Trenchcoats. Now that I'm over 65, once I finish researching the best quality ISO-8s, I'll research those armors and probably go back to using Tactician outfit (what I was using before it got too expensive to keep the armors up to date). Peabody 12 months ago on 06/03/12 Equipped: Technique scroll: "Bitch Slap" named "Peabody's Receipt of Expenses. *RAGEQUIT*" He generates 2 hulk ups, works great for getting him hulked up very fast. As far as dealing with blasters, I just make sure to take them out in the first 2 rounds and it's pretty smooth from there. I've got over 300 evasion on my spiderman which just makes him a pain in the ass to hit. I made a pretty stupid mistake myself thinking I had unlocked all the way on the tactician outfit, bought the 6 slot and loaded it up with my best ISO.. and then 2 levels later unlocked the 7 slot. Is there an 8 slot to unlock as well?
Kaziel 12 months ago on 06/03/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" Is there a researchable 7 slot? If so, that's news to me. I know there's a gold-bought 8-slot. Peabody 12 months ago on 06/03/12 Equipped: Technique scroll: "Bitch Slap" named "Peabody's Receipt of Expenses. *RAGEQUIT*" I'm not sure, I've got researched up to Tact III which gives a 4 slot and I can see Tact IV unlocks a 5 slot. My shop now shows the locked 8 slot as well. It would be interesting to know if it's even worth researching uniforms. Kaziel 12 months ago on 06/04/12 Updated: 12 months ago on 06/06/12 Equipped: Pimp Hat named "Warlock's Chapeau" It's worth researching them if you don't want to spend the gold on them. And by "The gold" I mean 166 gold if you want all of the gold-bought Trench Coats. The Generalist Trench costs 22g and the rest cost 24g a piece. Not exactly cheap. PS: Two things:
1) For those who haven't logged in today and are still trying to or even have given up on getting MockingBird, Playdom gave us an extra week and lowered the points required to get 5 stars. I'm not sure what they lowered them to because... 2) GOT MOCKINGBIRD, BITCHES! vlyandra 12 months ago on 06/07/12 Equipped: Symmetrical Bread Stack named "Carboloading" Man, I keep wanting to spend CP on non-90 CP characters. I need a better scrapper than Iron Fist, but I also really want Storm, but more than all of that, I probably want Blaster Thor. I don't even know, this is so hard to decide. | Geek dating and social networking for awesome people.OtakuBooty is where smart, funny, sexy nerds meet. Creating an account is free.
