Sure sateen sheets feel really soft and look very lux, but my body runs hot and I sweat, so they just end up sticking to me. I've resigned myself to 100% cotton percale sheets, and they feel so much better.

Anyone own linen sheets? Are they really worth the big bucks?

I can't be bothered to spend a lot of money on sheets. Sateen is definitely the worst though... I guess I actually enjoy a little roughness to my sheets?

Ross/Marshall's are my jam when it comes to cheap sheet sets.

I love tshirt sheets. I mean damn, that cotton feeling is just too nice and soft. I also have some really nice I guess regular cotton sheets, but.... I like the tshirt ones too much and I never use them.

I love flannel sheets, but in the summer they're a death sentence. I usually stick with jersey cotton (t-shirt sheets) or regular cotton.

In other mundane news, lately I've found myself shifting from frozen broccoli & cauliflower mixes to just frozen broccoli. Frozen cauliflower just didn't heat back up the same.

I'm all about that high thread count cotton. 400/600 and I'm happy as a clam

I could never get into cauliflower, but frozen vegetables are a life saver.

600 thread count or GTFO. I'm delicate.

I'm not saying that I'm not a delicate princess, but I'm also the reincarnation of several sun gods and all this bodily heat can't escape 10000000 count sheets.

I always end up looking for the lowest thread count, otherwise I feel stifled and gross! This is especially weird considering how when I am awake I need a heat rock/lamp like a lizard.

(Also, firm yes on that frozen broccoli.Yum.)

I bought a new rice cooker to replace my old cheap one I have had forever and it got me really excited.

Those ugly ass Dansko shoes are the best for standing on your feet all day in a retail environment. I wish I'd swallowed my pride and invested in a pair a year sooner.

I've had to wear dress shoes and be on my feet for so long that pretty much any other kind of shoe is an improvement.

I love my Instant Pot so freakin' much. FROZEN TAMALES NOW READY TO EAT IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES? RICE THAT IS PERFECT AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO BABYSIT OR DONK UP? I can't wait to try canning with it. Yogurt made w/ it turns out awesome too. I want to try making curry soon and some sort of nommin' broth like pho or ramen or SOMETHING IDK.
