Site Issues “Starred/Awesome Posts?” by MoonlightDestinyMoonlightDestiny 12 years ago on 11/02/05 Equipped: Bukkake Bucket named "omg I found a bucket of cu.... O.o" What/Who determines the star added to posts? Do the mods add stars whenever they feel like it because they like the posts? Is it due to the number or replies or something else? Thanks

Like use skulls, and have one to three skulls. This way people know which threads are generating hot flag action, instead of having well-placed negative flags count against a thread's rating.
If that makes any sense. LORD AWESOME 12 years ago on 11/18/05 Equipped: Magical Chicken Hat #2 named "Chicken, arise!" Negative flags are often an indicator of even more fun being present than positive ones, though. Matthew 12 years ago on 11/18/05 Equipped: Robin's Pendant named "Butt Plug of Iok-Sotot" Excatly my point. By having a "negative star" system, you'd keep the fun visible, AND you'd know it was mean-spirited fun. Skulls are no less fun than stars! |
