It's a triple layer yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate fudge frosting, with candy maki style decoration. Could be executed more neatly, but this was the best I could do in one evening having not made a full-on cake in ages. WHO WANTS SOME??? But, it was layers of rice, crab, nori, avocado, etc. Was DELISH. endless_story 5 years ago on 02/21/08 haha, i just saw a post on an LJ baking community for sushi cupcakes. it was cupcakes with the tops cut off, frosted with vanilla icing and topped with coconut flakes for the "rice," then a circle of orange sprinkles for the roe. the seaweed part was like green fruit by the foot wrapped around the bottom of the cupcake.
