“I like Japanese live-action film more often than anime (Battle Royale, 2LDK, Suicide Club, Audition, etc.), but I used to really love Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and back in high school, Tenchi Muyo”

“Just about anything, subject to two rules: A) I like it more with strings. B) There must be no disco. If you crave details, my mp3 player includes: Victory At Sea, Dresden Dolls, Metallica, Natalie Imbruglia, Evanescence, Mozart, Venetian Snares, etc”

“I'm admittedly short on otaku cred; I mostly watched anime as a means of language listening practice during college. (But at least I've been to Tokyo; that's worth some points, right?) Subcultures fascinate me, though.”
