Anime, Manga and Other Nerdy Stuff

Name some of your favorite anime and manga...

“My Neighbor Totoro, Evangelion, FLCL, Urusei Yatsura 2, Gundam 0079, KOR, Kare Kano, Millenium Actress, Pom Poko, Lone Wolf & Cub, Hale+Guú, Planetes (manga), Koroshiya-Ichi... In general, I like Studio Ghibli, Gainax, and Satoshi Kon.”

What's some of your favorite music? What have you been listening to lately?

“pop, experimental, noise, ambient, death metal, free jazz, video game soundtracks, 1970's horror film soundtracks, etc. I've got about 1000 cds and 500 lps, and they are a pain in the ass to organize.”

What are some anime/manga/gaming-related interests you have? Watching anime, cons, collecting cels, etc...

“I like reading manga, playing video games, and watching anime. Go figure. I'm as fond of classics from 1984 and earlier as I am of new fansubs...”

If you go to conventions, what upcoming cons are you attending?

“I go to conventions somewhat regularly, at least annually. Might go to Otakon this year.”
