It's as if you've lost, collectively, a reasonably sized child. I don't think I've mentioned numbers myself here, but I've skimmed 5 lbs off since getting serious at the end of July, even with a fistful of eating transgressions in the first week or two, a minor one yesterday, and strength workouts probably mitigating some of the projected fat loss with muscle gain.

Chinese tends not to be too bad, save for a) the lunch special I used to get was about 60% pork fried rice and b) I can kill one in one sitting, regardless of what's with that fried rice, to the wonder and amazement of my peers. ...

Left some B&J Snickerdoodle Cookie out to thaw a bit so I could have a wee amount, then forgot about it until it was half melted. Refreezing it would've destroyed it, so I killed it, and reworked my dinner plans to make room for it.

Unfortunately, I a) forgot about my post-workout shake in my original calculations and b) ended up needing to taste many more things we needed to prep in the kitchen tonight than I anticipated, so I'm def over my targets today. Looks like it's time for an hour on the bike before bed.

This year's Southern Tier Pumking -sucks-. It's a damn shame, considering past years have been wonderful. Right now, Smuttynose Pumpkin is tops of the three I've tasted for this year, with Southampton's being pretty solid too. I've yet to investigate 2010's take on my personal fave, however; Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale.

Christopher - Always shortened it to Chris as a kid, but I've taken to using the whole thing much of the time. I like it, save for when I'm working at either job, as there are a bajillion other Chrises at both. It doesn't help that one guy at the bar not only has my first name, but also my middle, and we have the same last initial. What.
