Saw it yesterday. I think it's a solid action/sci-fi film with enough nods to the original Star Trek franchise to please casual fans. I've never been a die hard Trekkie but I understand why some of the die hard fans could have problems with it.

Also Karl Urban's Bones was the best part of the movie.

Yeah I remember MTV was a real pusher of the HIV/AIDS awareness, nowadays they just push Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant. I doubt kids nowadays know about Ryan White and others and just how scary HIV/AIDS was only a decade earlier.

I agree with this. Right now, 3D printing is going to mostly be a non issue, but as it gets cheaper and more advance I'm sure all those problems this article says isn't important will become an issue.

The only significant death that I've experienced so far was when my uncle was murdered when I was in 1st grade, I remember the funeral pretty well and I remember it taking me a while to get over it.

My grandmother who helped raised me has MS and we didn't catch it until it ended it caused her to be completely paralyzed from the neck down and while I don't think she's in danger of dying anytime soon, it nevertheless brought those fears of death, and also made me question if death would of been a better result than the life she's living now. ...

He was like any other politician. He did some bad things and did some good. I just hate is when he get's unfair criticism. He wasn't Hitler or Stalin, while I hate his suppression of media and how he handled politics history suggests Venezuela overall became a better country with him running it than it was before.

I mainly liked him when he called the US out on some of its bs. Only him and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad have balls to do this, but Ahmadinejad is a lunatic so nobody really listens to him.

Sooo I'm way behind on this game. I used to not like Bioware games, really cause I never gave them a chance, I thought I just wasn't into RPGs. But oh man I've been playing the crap out of Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 2. Once I finish ME2 I'm gonna be all over 3.

We just got done reviewing this study in Biology class. It's pretty interesting but surprisingly short experiment for a published article. Just 20 subjects and they did their statistics on a excel spreadsheet. But none the less very fascinating observation.
