I love the Lightbox feature's ease of use for all photos in general. However I also like the OB Highslide ability to open fops without incurring the "creeper" stigma from viewing profile pages.

SQ, the new lightbox code works on the user's fops page but the OB Highslide script can also work on the latest fops page.

-There seems to be a lot of assumptions in this thread. I haven't seen any artist touch an Apple computer in over 6 years. Use of OS is usually influenced by the specific art industry you're in and what those tasks are. In your ideal world, what will you be doing?
-Also unless you must have mobility as an artist, I'd caution you away from laptops. A laptop means a very big drop in computer capabilities, i.e. smaller Photoshop files and generally a more laggy computer than you could buy with a desktop on that budget.

His manifesto makes it pretty clear that he does not expect to survive this. Parts of it read like a suicide letter.

Ok but you should consider not using the term "B Movie". Starship Troopers had a budget 5X greater than Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Most films that debuted nationally in theaters are top-tier films (even if they're critically panned). Probably the simplest test to identify B-movies in the last 30 years is to ask "Was it released straight to video?", "Did this debut on the internet?", or possibly "Is this a SyFy original?"

I'd encourage y'all to take a brief moment and learn the meaning of "B-movie". Less Luc Besson, James Cameron, Lucas, and Spielberg; more Bruce Campbell, Tommy Wiseau, and Troma.

I have another one too, so I think this was made because you were going on about wombats.

[ x ] Nay

I feel like it makes the movie experience worse for me. Since I don't normally wear glasses, I'm uncomfortably aware of those chunky things sitting on my nose the whole time.

The effect of fake post-3D makes me feel nauseous. This is the result of cutting up a 2D film into planes (sometimes called billboarding) and moving them in 3D space. It's the same effect used in early 3D games, like Doom. That turns my stomach.

Even well made 3D films (shot with 3D cameras) can leave me feeling gross though. Ali was once explaining to me that this is because our brains are confused. I ...

Sam and Frodo made it to Mt. Doom in sixteen days (March 9 - March 25).

Correction: 6 months from Shire to Mordor. They left the Shire on Sept 23 of the previous year. Without Frodo's rehabilitation in Rivendell (2 months) and the Fellowship hanging out in Lothlorien (1 month), the journey should only take 3 - 3.5 months of uninterrupted and constant walking.

I probably am overestimating the Xenomorph armor. All I remember was that only the most powerful guns would penetrate it. I may be underestimating the piercing ability and strength of Elven arrows, but I go ...

So you're replacing the armies of Mordor, Isengard, and goblins with 100 Xenomorphs or are the Xenormophs fighting in addition to the evil armies? If the Xenomorphs were an additional army at Sauron's disposal, the ring would never have made it. I'm going to assume you mean all evil armies (in addition to the ghost army of the dead) are not in this hypothetical.

Strategies:
There were so few men, ents, and elves left in Middle-earth at this time, that they were pretty ineffective as a fighting force against the evil armies. Their only chance of success was to hide in their fortresses to s ...

When you say "armies of Middle Earth", do you mean all armies and forces alive at the end of the 3rd Age are collaborating against the 100 Xenomorphs? And when you say "Sauron's pleasings", is that only in the land of Mordor or anywhere in Middle-earth?
