Here's my Christmas day in pictures!
Most people won't care how I spent my Christmas day, but there are also photos in here of me making an omelette with 12 eggs. That should have widespread appeal.
I hope everybody had an awesome day.
I love spending Christmas with my family. It's a combination of a lot of great things - love, presents, food and relaxation.
On Christmas Eve we ate, decorated the tree, beat my parents in an epic game of Trivial Pursuit, and watched Starship Troopers. On Christmas morning we got up around 9, and opened presents. I got some cool stuff:
-Socks (it's just not a Christmas without socks, is it?)
-French press coffee maker (I asked for this... makes amazingly strong coffee)
-Young Ones DVD set (yesssss)
-Alien Quadrilogy DVD set
-Stuffed "facehugger" from the Alien movies. So wrong... so cute!
-LED Flashlight with no batteries. You charge it by shaking it. Theoretically this is a good idea, but it's not very bright. This will be good to keep in the car since normal batteries tend to die pretty quickly in a car trunk thanks to all the temperature changes
-I'm forgetting one or two more things
After opening presents, my brother Matthew made some amazing Bloody Marys with the Ketel One I gave him. Ketel One is incredible vodka and is way too good for Bloody Marys, but who cares? It's a holiday.
Then the real work started - with help from Matthew I made a 12 egg omelette. You can see a bunch of pictures of it below. The eggs were whipped with herbs, black pepper, and just a pinch of chili powder. The omelette was filled with cheese, tomatoes, and fried onions. It was a wonderful feat of engineering and tasted awesome. Great success.
After breakfast we watched Animal House and visited some family for the rest of the day. That was painfully boring and I'll omit the details for your sake and mine.
All in all, great Christmas. I'm in such a good mood now.
