Always look on the briiiiight side of life!In order to raise the spirits of its jailed citizens, the government of Japan has approved plans to change the color schemes of inmates' clothing and bed sheets. "We hope to stabilize the mental states of inmates by giving them warmer and brighter colours."
Singapore, regarded today as one of the most business friendly locations in the world, is recycling roughly 18,000 gravesites. The government has been forced to exume the remains of the dead bodies 15 years after their initial burial in order to conserve space in the country's only cemetary. The quote speaks for itself: "A Greek court on Wednesday has lifted a ban on selling a cartoon book from Austria depicting Jesus Christ as a drinking buddy of Jimi Hendrix and a marijuana-smoking, naked surfer."
