Do not be confused. A few months ago I saw a movie called The Cave. I didn't even bother writing a review about it because it wasn't the greatest film. I'm thinking a lot of people will think that The Descent is pretty much the same movie. It is not. The Descent is the real deal. It is the best horror movie I have seen in a very long time. Very tense. Literally had me on the edge of my seat and even yelled out "shit!" and "fuck!" a few times, too. If you like horror films seek this one out.

A group of women thrill-seekers go on yearly trips to get the biggest adrenaline rush they can. The next trip is to go spelunking and their trip leader that year takes them into an unexplored cave. When their return path is obstructed, they have to find an alternate exit. They found something else instead.
